We have cattle that will need cared for through the winter months, from December to March. Cattle will be on corn stalks until they are close to calving, moved to a dry lot while calving, then moved back to stalks until they are ready to be moved to pasture. Duties will include tending to cattle while they are on cornstalks, and assist with feeding, checking for sick cattle and doctoring when needed. During calving cows will need checked 3 times per day. Employees will be expected to pull calves when needed, tag calves, and treating calves when needed. Employees will help with general farm duties throughout the season.

This employer has also applied to bring in seasonal workers on H-2A visas, so the opening is on public record with the US Department of Labor. Workers already in the United States may apply. SeasonalJobs.dol.gov
